This paper designed three biphenyl polycarboxylic acid ligands:4'-methoxy-[1,1'-biphenyl]-3,5-dicarboxylacid?L1?,4'-hydroxy-[1,1'-biphenyl]-3,5-dicarboxylicacid?L2?and4-hydroxy-[1,1'-biphenyl]-3,3',5,5'-tetracarboxylic acid?L3?reacts with rare earth metals and transition metal salts under hydrothermal conditions to construct 24structures.There are a total of 21 complexes constructed with rare earth metals, which are{[Ln2L23?H2O?4]}n{Ln=Eu,Tb,Dy,Ho,Er,Tm,Yb,Lu},{[Ln2L32?H2O?3]}n{Ln=La,Ce,Pr,Eu,Tb,Dy,Ho,Er,Tm,Lu},{[Ln2L32?H2O?3]?2H2O}n{Ln=Nd,Sm,Gd}and three complexes with transition metal zinc are[ZnL12?H2O?2],[ZnL2],[Zn3?L3?2?H2O?4].The structures of the above complexes were all tested by single crystal X-ray diffraction, and the obtained complexes were further characterized by PXRD,infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, elemental analysis and other instruments. The results show that the complexes constructed by the same ligand and different rare earth metals have the same configuration, and some rare earth complexes have a small difference in free water. The rare earth complexes?CPs 1-21?constructed based on ligands L2 and L3 all have three-dimensional?3D?skeleton structures, and in the process of synthesizing complexes with transition metal zinc, the three ligands are different in configuration.CP22-24 exhibit zero-dimensional,three-dimensional and two-dimensional skeleton structures. At the same time,we also studied the properties of the synthesized complexes such as fluorescence recognition and photodegradation.Experimental results show that complexes 2,23,and 24 had good recognition effects on TNT and iron ions. The complexes 23 and 24 also exhibited higher catalytic ability in the photocatalytic degradation of methyl blue.
