With the increasing awareness of environmental protection and the gradual reduction of petroleum resources in recent years,new formulations represented by environmentally-friendly suspension agents have become the focus of attention in the pesticide industry at home and abroad.Suspension concentrate is a new formulation with the fastest growing,processable pesticide active ingredients,the most mature processing technology,relatively low cost and good market prospects in water-based preparations.However,since the pesticide aqueous suspension is a thermodynamically unstable multiphase dispersion system,stability problems such as particle aggregation,Ostwald ripening,water separation and bottoming are prone to occur during storage.Therefore,it is necessary to study it from both theoretical and production practice.To guide the development of pesticide water suspension formulation formulations.In this paper,30% trifloxystrobin suspension with stable performance were prepared by a series of research methods,and the stability problems occurred during storage were studied.The research content of this paper is as follows.(1)The dispersant was initially screened by the flow point method,and the amount of dispersant was determined by Zeta potential and viscosity.Combined with the suspension rate and storage stability test,the formulation of 30% trifloxystrobin suspension was determined.This process can be applied in preparing pesticide formulations.(2)The formulation of 30% trifloxystrobin suspension was determined: the content of trifloxystrobin(96%)was 31.3%,the dosage of SD-811 was 4%,the dosage of SD-206 was 1%,and the magnesium silicate aluminum was 1%,2% xanthan gum solution was 10%,ethylene glycol was 4%,antifoaming agent was 0.1%,sodium benzoate was 0.1%,and added deionized water to 100%.The technical indicators are: pH is 6~8,viscosity is 454 mPa·s,suspension rate is more than 95%,and it can pass the heat storage test,and all other indicators are qualified.(3)The rheological properties of the suspending agent were analyzed by rheological tests before and after heat storage.The flow behavior of the suspending agent was consistent with the Herschel-Bulkley rheological model,with shear-thinning rheological properties and their yield values.The range of yield values required for stable storage of pesticide suspension systems can withstand a certain degree of external force damage,in line with the performance requirements of suspension agents in actual production.
