Epoxy resin refers to a kind of organic polymer compound containing two or more epoxy groups in its molecular structure,and is an important thermosetting resin.Faced with the development of high-tech industiy,the demand for epoxy resin is also increasing.The traditional bisphenol A epoxy resin can not meet the market demand.Therefore,we propose a new type of alicyclic epoxy resin 3,4-epoxycyclohexylcarboxylic acid-3',4'-epoxycyclohexylmethyl ester(AOO),fine important organic intermediates.The epoxy group in the molecular structure is directly connected to the alicyclic ring.Therefore,compared with the conventional bisphenol A type epoxy resin,it has low viscosity,good thermal stability,high weather resistance,electric insulation performance and other characteristics,widely used in coatings,composite materials,electronic appliances,glue,and other fields.Based on the literature,this paper chooses a synthetic route with simple operation,mild condition and low cost,and the synthesis of 3,4-epoxycyclohexylcarboxylic acid-3',4'-epoxycyclohexylmethyl ester.Synthesis of the reaction in each step to optimize the reaction conditions in order to get a relatively good yield under the premise of the maximum reduction in the cost of production.At the same time also designed the various stages of the process flow chart and suitable reactor,to provide theoretical basis for industrial production.(1)The first step in this experiment is to use cheap 3-cyclohexene-1-formaldehyde as raw material,aluminum isopropanol as catalyst by Tischenko reaction intermediates 3-cyclohexenecarboxylic acid-3'-cyclohexene methyl ester(A),through the optimization of reaction condition experiments,the optimal synthetic conditions are as follows:3-cyclohexene-1-formaldehyde meter of 0.16 mol,choose solvent 1,2-dichloroethane of 4 mL,the molar ratio of 3-cyclohexene-1-formaldehyde/isopropyl alcohol is 100:1,and reacted at 37? for 2 h.(2)The second step is to intermediate 3-cyclohexenecarboxylic acid-3'-cyclohexene methyl ester as raw material after epoxidation reaction synthesis target product.and the synthesis conditions are optimized,the optimum synthesis conditions are obtained.The structure of product was characterized by 1H NMR?13C NMR?LC-MS and FTIR.The results showed that the synthesized product was 3,4-epoxycyclohexylcarboxylic acid-3',4'-epoxycyclohexylmethyl ester.And related tests on the technical indicators of the product,the results showed that the homemade meet the relevant indicators.(3)According to the needs of industrial production,the production process flow chart and suitable reactor o± 3,4-epoxycyclohexylcarboxvlic acid-3'4'-epoxycyclohexylmethyl ester were designed,which provided a theoretical basis for further industrial production.
