In the deep well drilling process,high temperature resistant and sodium tolerant fluid loss additive is a key treatment agent,and its performance is significant to safe,fast and efficient drilling engineering.This article,based on the theory of polymer chemistry,a new type of drilling fluid fluid loss agent is developed with high temperature and high salt environment as experimental conditions.In this paper,the four kinds of polymerization monomers are selected by experiment.The AM/AMPS/SSS/MAH fluid loss improper is successfully synthesized by the determined reaction conditions such as polymerization type,polymerization temperature,monomer ratio,monomer concentration,initiator type and dosage.Performance evaluation shows that the fluid loss agent can be used in 200 ?/220 ? saturated saline drilling fluid,can maintain good rheology and low filtration loss(less than 12 mL).Through the analysis of the physical properties of synthetic polymers,the mechanism of loss reduction of drilling fluid is analyzed from the molecular structure direction combined with colloidal dispersion stability theory and drilling fluid correlation knowledge.The mechanisms of this fluid loss agent is that:(1)dispersing the clay particles in the drilling fluid to reduce the permeability of the cake;(2)increasing the viscosity of the filtrate;(3)plugging effect.
