| This paper explores the visibility factors of the affected objects in the fog environment,and expounds the essence of the "white wall effect",through theoretical research,field investigation,scene simulation,experimental testing,quantitative analysis,subjective evaluation and other methods,which is based on Ricco’s law.The apparent energy model evaluates the visibility of objects in the fog environment,and analyzes the relationship between the three common lighting methods and visibility.It proposes methods and measures to effectively improve road safety under dense fog conditions,and effectively evaluates different ways to establish a dense fog environment.The lighting effect of the lighting method was discussed.Focusing on this research direction,the main conclusions of this paper are as follows:1.Influence of light source power on target recognition,under dense fog conditions: low power light source > high power light source;under mist conditions:high power light source > low power light source.For the effect of color on the object’s visibility,in daytime fog conditions: black > gray > white,red > blue >yellow;in the night fog environment: white > gray > black,yellow > blue > red.The influence of color temperature on the recognition of target objects.In the fog environment,the low color temperature light source is always superior to the high color temperature light source,but in the daytime dense fog environment: light off >low color temperature > high color temperature;in the daytime mist environment is below: low Color temperature>High color temperature>light off.2.This paper proposes an apparent energy model to evaluate the road environment.In the fog environment,the visibility of the target is positively correlated with the contrast logarithm and the apparent area,and is analyzed by experimental data.The low-level illumination has a good lighting effect,and the low-level illumination is positive.The brightness and the viewing area of the non-self-illuminating objects in the night fog environment are best improved to 15 degrees.3.In the dense fog road environment,the taillights of the motor vehicle can be found earlier than the contour of the vehicle,and the vehicle visibility can be effectively improved by enhancing the brightness of the taillights of the vehicle.This article has two values:(1)Theoretical value:This paper analyzes the scattering law of light in fog and the characteristics of road visual environment under dense fog conditions.The factors affecting the visibility of motor vehicle drivers under dense fog conditions are presented.The energy model under dense fog conditions is proposed to quantify various conditions under dense fog conditions.The effectiveness of the lighting method has certain reference significance for the study of bad weather in the future.(2)Engineering significanceIt proposes and verifies the methods and measures to effectively improve road visibility under dense fog conditions,reduce accident incidence,reduce people’s lives and property losses,and provide theoretical and technical references for road safety in dense fog weather. |
