Development of highly active and stable non-precious electrocatalysts for water splitting is a hot spot recently.However,these materials display some obvious shortages such as high over-potential,poor stability and energy consumption,which have re-stricted the development of water electrolysis.Therefore,to reseach and design HER or OER electrocatalysts with high electrocatalytic activity,long-term stability has been of practical value and great practical significance.In this work,with?-?self-assembled metal phthalocyanine/carbon nanotubes?MPc/CNT?as precursor,the CoN/CNT,FeP/CNT,Ni-Mo/CNT and NiO-Fe2O3/CNT electrocalysts have been successfully pre-pared via nitridation,phosphation,oxidation,hydrogenation processes.The as-prepared materials were characterized by XRD,Raman,XPS,BET,TGA,ICP,SEM and TEM,respectively.The electrocatalytic water splitting activities of the above composites were studied.?1?The CoPc/CNT precursor was prepared by?-?self-assembly method.The elec-trocatalysts CoN/CNT was prepared by pyrolysis in ammonia gas.CoN/CNT electro-catalyst exhibits palmary electrocatalytic activities in acidic solution for HER.CoN/CNT catalyst has a small onset overpotential of-60 mV,overpotential of 98 mV to achieve current density of 10 mA cm-2,a low Tafel slope of 60.3 mV dec-11 for HER.?2?The FePc/CNT precursor was prepared by?-?self-assembly method.The FeP/CNT electrocatalysts was prepared by pyrolysis in air and low temperature phos-phating method.FeP/CNT electrocatalyst exhibits an outstanding HER catalytic activity and stability in acidic electrolytes.FeP/CNT electrocatalyst has a small onset overpo-tential of-41 mV,overpotential of 68 mV to achieve current density of 10 mA cm-2,a low Tafel slope of 58 mV dec-11 for HER.Faradaic efficiency of nearly 100%.?3?The NiPc-MoPc/CNT precursor was prepared by?-?self-assembly method.The Ni-Mo/CNT electrocatalysts was prepared by pyrolysis in air and low temperature hydriding method.Ni-Mo/CNT electrocatalyst exhibits well electrocatalytic activities in acidic solution for hydrogen evolution reaction.Ni-Mo/CNT catalyst has low onset overpotential of-91 mV,overpotential of 164 mV to achieve current density of 10 mA cm-2,Tafel slope of 69.4 mV dec-1for HER.?4?The NiPc-FePc/CNT precursor was prepared by?-?self-assembly method.The electrocatalysts NiO-Fe2O3/CNT was prepared by pyrolysis in air.NiO-Fe2O3/CNT electrocatalyst exhibits excellent electrocatalytic activities in alkaline solution for oxy-gen evolution reaction.NiO-Fe2O3/CNT has a small onset overpotential of 1.45 V,overpotential of 1.47 V to achieve current density of 10 mA cm-2,a low Tafel slope of43.3 mV dec-1for OER.
