Ag/Cu?I?-based metal halide?MH?with excellent optoelectronic property is one of the research hotspots among the fields of organic-inorganic hybrid material.They are regarded as functional materials and have potential applications in various areas such as semiconductors,photo/thermochromic,non-linear optics,photoluminescence,photochemical catalysis,and so on.To acquire the MHs with diverse architectures and narrow band gaps,the template synthesis strategy is widely employed by virtue of crystal engineering method.Among various structure-directing agents,organic amines or metal-organic coordination complexes have caused great interest owing to their structural modifiability,rich charge,flexible geometric size,as well as diverse architectures and excellent properties.With the assistance of diverse templates,ten iodocuprates/iodoargentates have been successfully synthesized with volatilization method or under hydro/solvothermal conditions in this thesis.The compounds have been characterized by X-ray single crystal diffraction analysis,powder X-ray diffraction analysis,elemental analysis,IR spectra and thermal analysis.Moreover,the photocatalysis and dye adsorption properties of the compounds have also been investigated in detail.The summary of the major works is as follows:?1?The construction of iodoargentates templated by solvent metal cations.By employing diverse solvated cations as the template,a series of novel iodoargentates were successfully constructed:[Al?DMSO?6][Ag9I12]?1?;[Fe?DMSO?6][Ag6I9]·DMSO?2?;[Fe?H2O?6][Ag15I18]?3?;[Cd?DMSO?6][Ag8I10]?4?;[Cr?DMSO?6][Ag9I12]?5?;[Ni?DMSO?6][Ag5I7]?6?;[V?DMSO?5?H2O?][Ag6I8]?7?.The solvated cations filled in the pores of the frameworks play an important role on the assembly of the final products with diverse structures and stacking modes.Structural analysis shows that both metal ions and solvent molecules have significant effects on the construction of the corresponding architectures.?2?The construction of iodocuprates templated by organic amines or metal-based complex.Three iodocuprates were successfully obtained by using[Hhmta]+?hmta:hexamethylenetetramine?,[hmta]and[Pb4?OH?4]4+as the structure directing agents:[Hhmbc][CuI2]?8?;[hmbc][Cu2I2]·NMP?9?;[Pb4?OH?4][Cu2I6]?10?.The organic amines with different valence are responsible for the structural difference for compounds 8 and 9,though both one-dimensional chains are formed in the two structures.In compound 10,the cationic[Pb4?OH?4]4+as the template was firstly introduced into the three-dimensional Cu-I framework.This compound can be served as an excellent photocatalyst to efficiently degrade indole even under sunlight because of the introduction of photoactive species,which provides a promising approach to the acquisition of superior photocatalysts.
