The C-N coupling reaction catalyzed by transition metal is one of the most important methods for the construction of the C-N skeleton.Nitrogen-containing organic compounds synthesized by C-N coupling reaction have the important applications in the fields of medicine, functional materials, and agricultural science. The introduction of ligands into the C-N coupling reaction catalyzed by transition metal can not only stabilize the metal, but also improve the catalytic activity of the catalyst.Common transition metals used to catalyze C-N coupling reactions include palladium, nickel and copper.Among them, copper has been widely used in C-N coupling reaction because it is cheap and easy to obtain. In this paper, two new types of copper complexes were synthesized and applied to catalyze Ullmann coupling reactions of?hetero?aryl chloride with azole. The contents are as follows:1.A copper?I?complex containing a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic carbene ligand was synthesized and characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy and X-ray single crystal diffractometer.Meanwhile, the complex was applied to catalyze the Ullmann coupling reaction of?hetero?aryl chloride with azole. The results showed that the Ullmann coupling reaction could be carried out successfully with only 1 mol%catalyst and N,N-dimethylformamide as solvent at 120 oC.2.A copper???complex containing 2,2'-?1H-1,2,4-triazole-1,3-diyl?dipyridine ligand was synthesized. The structure of the complex was characterized by X-ray single crystal diffractometer and the fourier infrared spectrometer.Meanwhile, this complex was applied to catalyze the Ullmann coupling reaction of?heterocyclic?aryl chlorides with azole. The results showed that the Ullmann coupling reaction could be carried out successfully in the presence of Cs2CO3 with 1 mol%catalyst and N,N-dimethylformamide as solvent at 120 oC.
