In this paper,the AC4 B aluminum alloy material is selected as the research object,and a special experimental model was designed to apply a mechanical vibration field during its mold filling and solidification process to explore the effects of different vibration frequencies and amplitances on the microstructure grain,metal liquid filling performance,shrinkage cavity,porosity and mechanical properties of the casting.Through the analysis and observation of the experimental data,and the establishment of the relevant mathematical model for the mechanism analysis,it is concluded that the mechanical vibration is positive and beneficial to the casting when the frequency and amplitude of the vibration field are within a certain range during the casting process.When the vibration frequency and amplitude beyond this range,mechanical vibration will bring a negative effect.Finally,when the mechanical vibration frequency is 30Hz?40Hz and the vibration amplitude is 0.15mm?0.2mm,the overall performance of the casting is the best.Numerical simulation was used to optimize the process parameters of an aero aluminum alloy casting.The prediction model of process parameters and casting quality was established by using BP neural network.Genetic algorithm was used to find the best casting process parameters.Compared with the original method,this new method can effectively control the solidification time and reduce the shrinkage cavity and porosity of casting.Under the optimal vibration parameters and casting process parameters,the ability of vibration to reduce the casting pouring riser size was investigated by changing the size of the lower riser of the sand mold casting.It is concluded that the casting under the condition of mechanical vibration can reduce the volume of the pouring riser by about 1/2,and the casting quality meets the requirements.This study can provide a reference for the cost saving of the factory.
