Halogenated hydrocarbon extinguishing agent has the advantages of high fire extinguishing efficiency,no electrical conductivity,stable chemical performance,and doesn't have pollution or damage to the victims,so it is widely used for fire extinction.At present,the halogenated hydrocarbon extinguishing agent is mainly stored in pressure vessel bottles with many accessory parts and large volume,which is not easy to move and carry.What's more,the boiling points of liquid halogenated hydrocarbon extinguishing agent is low,which makes it difficult to store.Therefore,the microencapsulation of halogenated hydrocarbon extinguishing agent is an important method to solve above the problem.On the one hand,the microencapsulation of halogenated hydrocarbon extinguishing agent can improve its storage stability.On the other hand,it can realize the release of halogenated hydrocarbon extinguishing agent at high temperature and play its fire-extinguishing role.In this work,Freon114B-2/gelatin(GE)-gelatin(GA)microcapsules,Freon114B-2/whey proteinisolate(WPI)-GA microcapsules and Freon114B-2/WPI microcapsules were prepared,and their morphology,structure and properties were studied.The main works are as follows:(1)Preparation of Freon114B-2/GE-GA microcapsules: Freon114B-2/GE-GA microcapsules were prepared by complex condensation method,in which GE and GA were chosen as wall materials and Freon114B-2 was chosen as core material.The microcapsules were spherical in shape with narrow size distribution,and the loading capacity of microcapsules was 20.1 %.The result of storage stability indicated microcapsules could be stored for a long time.The result of heat resistance indicated that microcapsules could withstand the temperature of 150 ?.The result of fire extinguishing experiment showed that microcapsules can extinguish the flame of combustion materials in a short time and play a certain role in extinguishing fire.(2)Preparation of Freon114B-2/WPI-GA microcapsules: The microcapsules were prepared by complex condensation method at room temperature,in which WPI and GA were chosen as wall materials and Freon114B-2 was chosen as core material.The microcapsules were spherical with narrow size distribution and the loading capacity of microcapsules was 30.2 %.The results of storage stability indicated microcapsules could be stored for a long time.The result of heat resistance indicated microcapsules could withstand the temperature of 200 ?.The result of fire extinguishing experiment showedthe microcapsule can extinguish the flame of the combustion material and has certain fire-extinguishing performance.(3)Preparation of Freon114B-2/WPI microcapsules: The microcapsules were prepared by single condensation method,in which WPI was chosen as wall material and Freon114B-2 was chosen as core material.The Freon114B-2/WPI microcapsules were spherical and the loading capacity of microcapsules was 42.4 %.The results of storage stability indicated microcapsules could be stored for a long time.The result of heat resistance indicated microcapsules could withstand the temperature of 200 ?.The result of fire extinguishing experiment showed microcapsules had good fire-fighting performance.The as-prepared microcapsules of halogenated hydrocarbon extinguishing agent will have wide application prospect in the field of fire protection.
