The working performances of precision ball screw are put forward higher requirements under the high load conditions of the aerospace.The traditional design theory and method of the ordinary ball screw are unsuitable for ball screw under high load condition.Therefore,it is of great significance to analysis and research on the working performances of the precision ball screw under special conditions.In this paper,the elastic and plastic contact deformation between ball and raceway of ball screw was analyzed based on Hertz contact theory and elastic-plastic contact deformation model.According to the geometric relationship of the deformation of ball screw,so the dynamic contact deformation of ball screw was analyzed and calculated..And then the total friction torque of ball screw was calculated by analyzing the friction types and influence factors of ball screw,and the wear model of ball screw was established and solved by the theoretical analysis of wear.On the basis of friction and wear analysis,according to the calculation of thermal power,the analysis of heat transfer and analysis of finite element method for temperature field and thermal deformation,the finite element simulation of the temperature rise and thermal deformation of the ball screw drive system were worked out by using ANSYS Workbench finite element software.And then,the contact dynamics of ball screw under different loads and different speeds were simulated and analyzed by using ADAMS multi-body dynamics software.And the contact force between ball and screw,ball and nut,ball and ball,ball and return tube were solved.In order to verify the working performances of the precision ball screw under special working conditions,a loading performance test-bed for ball screw was designed.Using this test-bed,the vibration and temperature rise of ball screw were measured.The study of the paper provides a theoretical and experimental basis for the improvement and design of the working performances of the precision ball screw under special working conditions.
