In order to provide a reference for the design and optimization of fuze for a certain type of grenade launcher,the paper attempts to analyze the firing device of the fuze,the slapper detonation mechanism and the split ring safety feature from theoretical analysis and numerical simulation attempts to be analyzed.The firing behavior of the fuze when the grenade bump with the target by through theoretical analysis and ANSYS/LS-DYNA software at different angles is simulated.When the grenade impact on the same material the target firing pin speed will increase with the increase of the angle,and the energy of the firing pin stroke detonator kinetic also increases with the increase of the angle.When the grenade hit the target that the thickness is thin,the instantaneous degree of the acupuncture head firing mechanism will be increasing with the increase of the target thickness.With the increase of the angle,the main firing pin punches the cap of the capitals increase and the instantaneous degree drops.When the grenade fuze hit the soil and the angle is less than or equal to 40 °,the firing pin component can reliably punch the fire cap and the fire cap can fire normally.The slapper detonation mechanism was simulated by ANSYS/LS-DYNA finite element software in this paper.The research shows that the distance between the slapper and acceptor has a certain impact on the pressure of the face of the acceptor.With the increase of the distance between the slapper and acceptor,the pressure of the face of the acceptor will be also decreased correspondingly.If the distance between the slapper and acceptor is further reduced,the change of the pressure of the face of the acceptor will be more obvious before the speed of the slapper is stable.The coat of the shellac varnish have a cushioning effect on the pressure of the face of the acceptor.The cushioning effect is nonlinea and more significant with the thickness increase.The pressure of the face of the acceptor is less sensitive to the coat of the shellac varnish with the the increase of thickness of the shellac varnish.The split ring safety feature is studied by the theoretical analysis and numerical simulation.The study shows that the plastic of the vulnerable position of the split ring will be occurred and the ball totor will be released by the split ring under the centrifugal effect of the rotating grenade at the moment of mouth that the grenade arrives.The plastic of the vulnerable position of the split ring that the material is lead brass is allowed when the drop test is in progress.The service handling is safe.
