The hot forming technology has a significant effect in lightening the automobile and improving the safety performance of the vehicle.The hot forming die is the core equipment of the thermal forming technology,which directly affects the cooling effect and forming process of the sheet metal during the die quenching,which determines the microstructure and final properties of the product.In order to complete the design of hot forming die,the process of internal quenching process should be analyzed.On the basis of this,the design scheme of the cooling water channel and the overall structure of the die are determined.In this thesis,a series of researches on theory,process parameters and mould design of hot forming technology are carried out.(1)Taking the plate die as the research object,through theoretical analysis of quenching process in die,a theoretical model of cooling water channel structure parameters for hot forming dies is established.MATLAB is used to solve the theoretical model,and the corresponding relationship between the structural parameters and the number of cooling waterways is obtained.The cooling effect of different schemes is compared with the finite element method,and the correctness of the theoretical model is verified by Continuous quenching experiment.(2)The factors that affect the cooling effect of the mould(the structural parameters of cooling water channel,the technological parameters of quenching in mold and the arrangement of cooling water channel)are studied.Through finite element analysis,the relationship between the structure of cooling water channel and the cooling effect of mould are studied.The relationship between quenching process parameters and cooling effect of die is studied through experiments.And the causes of these rules are explained.(3)On the basis of the above research,taking the die design of U shaped parts as an example,a systematic study on the design of the hot forming die is carried out.It includes the design of working parts,the design of die structure,the contrast analysis based on finite element method and the simulation of continuous hot forming process.The rationality of the design results is verified,which provides a basis for the design of hot forming dies.In summary,the theoretical model of cooling water channel structure parameters D,H and W has been established by analyzing the quenching process The influence of cooling water channel structure parameters on the cooling effect of dies is obtained by finite element method.The effect of quenchi.ng process parameters on the cooling effect of die is obtained by experimental method.The design of hot forming U mold is completed according to above research results.It provides a reliable research method and basis for the theory,technology and mould design of hot forming.
