The steam and water pipelines in power plants are prone to cause erosion damage during the process of conveying fluid medium.Due to the technical requirements of the pipeline system,the setting of throttle orifice plate will have a direct impact on pipeline erosion.This paper extends the study on the fluid erosion break in the drain pipes of condenser system by a power plant,and builds a model based on the actual operation condition parameters,the size of orifice plate and the layout of the pipelines.Through the numerical simulation of multi-phase Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)flow for the installation position of orifice plate and different angle inclined tees,the influence of different geometric parameters on the fluid erosion of steam and water pipelines would be defined.Combining with practical engineering cases and wear experiments of different materials,the reasonable pipeline layout structure and wear-resistant materials would be found to protect from erosion and wear.The paper researched the influences and protection of orifice plate erosion on the inner wall by a power plant mainly from the following four parts:(1)Through researching the basic theory of throttle orifice plate erosion on the inner wall,the working principle of throttle orifice plate,the mechanism of erosion effect and the calculation method of erosion theory are analyzed.The main factors affecting the structure characteristics of throttle orifice plate and the reasonable analysis models for the erosion of steam and water pipelines are given.(2)Geometric model is built on the basis of operation parameters,orifice plate size and pipeline layout of practical engineering cases.The three-way pipeline is meshed by Gambit fluid modeling software.RNG k-e turbulence model and deformable parts model(DPM)multiphase flow model(discrete phase model)in ANSYS Fluent are selected to set up.Continuity equation,Navier-Stokes equation and energy conservation equation are adopted.SIMPLC algorithm is used to solve the problem.(3)Using multi-phase flow fluid model and CFD fluid simulation technology,the gas-liquid two-phase flow of orifice plate at different diameters oblique tee is numerically analyzed,the influencing factors of erosion wear are found,and the erosion rule of orifice plate in combination with different diameters oblique tee is summarized,and the protective strategy for controlling pipeline wear is obtained.(4)Combining with the case of fluid erosion and wear in a domestic power plant,this paper analyses the causes of the defect of steam and water pipeline fluid erosion.According to the basic reasons of the case,the paper studies the protection by replacing the wear-resistant metal material and optimizing the pipeline layout rationally.Finally,the fluid erosion protection is carried out by setting reasonable pipeline layout,and it is obtained in practical engineering application with a good effect verification.
