| Sleep is an important physiological phenomenon of human body.High-quality sleep can alleviate physical fatigue and regulate the physiological activities of the human body,which plays a very important role on human health.However,with the development of society in recent years,pressure human beings baring becomes more and more serious,and insomnia has become a serious social problem that seriously influences people’s health.Traditional treatments of insomnia are drug therapy and psychotherapy.The treatment of drug therapy has great side effects and the treatment of psychological is limited by the treatment sites.Therefore,it is an urgent problem to seek a new method for treating insomnia.In recent years,with the rapid development of modern medicine and electronic technology,more and more intensive researches on brain waves,and more and more sophisticated applications of modern electronic technology are carried out,which has led to a new method for treating insomnia to come up.The electro-acupuncture treatment instrument is a new device for treating insomnia,which combines the research results of brain waves with modern electronic technologies and traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture.Compared with traditional methods,the electro-acupuncture treatment has the advantages of less side effects,reliability,portability,convenience and safety.This design mainly completed the following parts:(1)The design of EEG signal acquisition system has been completed.The real-time and efficient acquisition of EEG signals is realized.At the same time,EEG signal is pre-processed by amplification,filtering and analog-to-digital conversion,provide reliable data guarantee for experiment.(2)The design of EEG signal processing system has been completed.The EEG signal is processed by hardware and software to form a contrast.In the software,wavelet transform is used to extract δ wave and θ wave from EEG signal,and sample entropy algorithm is implemented to calculate the sample entropy of δ wave and θ wave.The calculated results are compared with the set threshold range of sample entropy.The comparison results will control the state of the instrument to realize its self-adaptability.The Mallat decomposition algorithm of wavelet transform is implemented in FPGA.The extraction of δ wave and θ wave from EEG signal has been completed.(3)The design of electro-acupuncture pulse generation system has been completed.According to the characteristics of δ wave and θ wave in sleep EEG,a variety of modes,frequencies,amplitude and duty cycle adjustable electro-acupuncture signals are designed and implemented to stimulate the human body to produce better therapeutic effect.The above parts constitute an adaptive electro-acupuncture sleep meter system,which not only can induce insomnia patients to enter the sleep state,but also can realize the self-adaptive control of the system when the patients are in the sleep state. |
