Since the 21st century,the vigorous development of automobile industry has changed people's way of life,and led to the rise of machinery,electronics,finance and transportation and other related industries.But on the one hand,with the increase of the number of automobiles,exhaust emissions bring tremendous pressure to environmental protection;on the other hand,the shortage of energy also promotes the transformation of traditional automobile industry.Therefore,people began to explore the development of new energy vehicles with economic and environmental protection.Under the existing technical conditions,pure electric vehicles are the key development direction of the automotive industry.In addition,in recent years,the state has also attached great importance to the development of electric vehicles,and issued a series of policies conducive to the development of electric vehicles.Therefore,electric vehicles will inevitably become the first choice of people in the future environment.In order to excavate and cultivate future electric vehicle engineering talents,China Automobile Engineering Society added the Chinese University Electric Equation Competition in 2013.Regenerative braking technology,as a very important energy-saving measure of electric vehicles,can solve the shortage of the current range of electric vehicles to a certain extent.The basic principle is that when a vehicle brakes,the driving motor is transformed into a generator,and the generated electric energy is stored in the power battery.In addition,the braking moment can be generated to realize the electric braking of the vehicle.In this paper,the application of regenerative braking in FSEC racing car is studied based on the existing theory and technology.Firstly,according to automobile theory and automobile structure,the principle of vehicle braking,braking force,principle and influencing factors of regenerative braking,and driving mechanics characteristics of the racing are introduced.Combining with the characteristics of electric racing car,the regenerative braking control strategy of FSEC racing car is put forward.Next,combined with the selection and design of key components such as driving motor,power battery and brake system,the whole vehicle simulation model is built with CRUISE software,and the model parameters are set.Then the evaluation criteria of regenerative braking system under durable condition and 50 km/h-0 km/h braking condition are put forward according to the driving characteristics of the racing car.The analysis shows that the regenerative braking system designed in this paper can give full play to its braking recovery ability and meet the design expectation.Finally,after the manufacture and debugging of the car,the energy recovery of the car is verified by dynamic test.The car runs well during the test.The regenerative braking system designed in this paper can improve the car's endurance mileage and complete the 22 km endurance race.
