| Funing Converter Station as the converter station of the most complex station of China Southern Power Grid,Integrating converter station,substation and series compensation station,Failure of any one component will affect the stable operation of the system.The DC power of Funing Converter Station can be sent to Guangxi,sent to Yunnan,and distributed to Guangxi and Yunnan.After the main grid of China Southern Power Grid and Yunnan Power Grid are asynchronously connected,there are two asynchronous grids running in the converter station.Any abnormality or DC blocking of the grid will bring great impact to the safe and stable operation of the grid.Seriously,it will affect The frequency of the regional power grid is unstable,and even caused a large-scale blackout.Based on the application of STATCOM in Yongfu DC,the necessity of installing STATCOM in Funing Converter Station is analyzed,and the problem of dynamic reactive power shortage of the weak contact system in Yongfu DC project is solved.A detailed analysis of how STATCOM can solve the problem of dynamic reactive power under different operating modes of High Voltage Direct Current(HVDC)is carried out.From the STATCOM in the coordinated control mode,the main control mode how to achieve fixed reactive power control,constant voltage control,transient control for demonstration.Finally,the body protection of the STATCOM control system,the protection of the converter chain,and the protection of the power unit(H-bridge)are analyzed.The simulation results show that STATCOM and HVDC control and protection system work in coordination,and can respond correctly under different fault conditions.The connection of VINCOM to STATCOM can effectively improve the system voltage of 500 kV and ensure the stability of the system voltage. |
