Hydraulic turbine regulation system(HTRS)is a very complex non-linear dynamic system.The tailrace tunnel hydropower station with sloping ceiling tailrace tunnel is selected as the research object,and the nonlinear mathematical model of the hydro-generating unit is established,considering non-elastic water hammer,non-linear turbine model and third-order generator model.In this paper,the bifurcation phenomenon of the non-linear dynamic system of hydro-generating unit is studied firstly.Then the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm is used to optimize the parameters of PID controller.Finally,a fuzzy sliding mode controller is designed by using the theory of fuzzy control and sliding mode control to realize the stability and control of the hydro-generating unit.Hopf bifurcation theory is used to study the bifurcation behavior of the nonlinear power system of hydro-generating unit and the stability domain of the system is determined.The results show that the bifurcation of the dynamic system is subcritical.On the basis of stability domain,the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm is used to optimize the parameters of PID controller,and the simulation test is carried out.The results show that the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm can be used to optimize the PID parameters of hydro-generating unit,and it shows the superiority of the algorithm.Based on the theory of fuzzy control and sliding mode control,a fuzzy sliding mode controller for the non-linear power system of hydro-generating unit in tailrace tunnels with sloping ceiling tailrace tunnel is designed and simulated.The results show that the stability and control of the hydro-generating unit have been achieved by using the designed fuzzy sliding mode controller,and the effect is perfect.
