In industrial production and life,low-voltage direct current is often boosted to a certain value to meet the needs of production equipment or load.The voltage gain of traditional Boost DC-DC converter is generally not more than 5,which can not meet the needs of production equipment,so high-gain Boost DC-DC converter came into being.The center-tapped inductor has the characteristics of a transformer.But different from the transformer,which can only change the voltage and quarantine,the centertapped inductor can also store energy and transfer it to the output.Because the centertapped inductor has the characteristics of common inductor and transformer,the centertapped inductor can directly replace the common inductor to improve the voltage gain in Boost DC-DC converters,or cascade several different topology DC-DC units to improve the voltage gain.By using the leakage inductance of the center-tapped inductor,the softswitching mode of the switches can be realized,and the leakage inductance energy can be coupled to the output through the snubber circuit,thus improving the efficiency of the DC-DC converter.In order to further improve the voltage gain,reduce the switch stress,improve the diode reverse recovery environment,and reduce the volume of the DC-DC converter,the center-tapped inductor can be introduced into the Boost DC-DC converter.Based on the idea of high gain Boost DC-DC converter with switched capacitor cells to improve voltage gain,this paper introduces a center-tapped inductor and interleaving circuit to reduce the current ripple,and designs a new Boost DC-DC converter with center-tapped inductor.The working principle of the new Boost DC-DC converter is introduced in this paper.An active clamp circuit is added to inprove the switch voltage spike problem caused by center-trapped inductance.The votage gain and component stress of this topology are analyzed in this paper,whitch is verified by PSIM simulation software.The mathematical model of the system is established by the state-space averaging method,and the closed-loop control algorithm of the system is designed and verified by verifies the validity of the topology by the MPPT control principle of photovoltaic power generation system.This new Boost DC-DC converter reduces the input voltage requirements,simplifies the complexity of the topology,reduces the size of the DC-DC converter,and has good application value.
