Chenggong district of Kunming city is one of the key development areas in Yunnan province with many engineering construction projects.There are more silty clay layers in the distribution of soil within the construction scope of the project.The physical and mechanical indexes of the silty clay in this area play a very important role in the engineering construction of this area.The foundation pit engineering is an important sub-project in the construction engineering,which requires high physical and mechanical parameters of the soil layer,and plays an important role in the design of the foundation pit support engineering.This paper makes a comparative study on the physical and mechanical parameters of silty clay in Chenggong district,Kunming city,in order to explore the laws between the physical and mechanical parameters,which can provide some reference for the geotechnical engineering in this area.The research contents are as follows:(1)based on the physical and mechanical parameters of 50 groups of silty clay samples in Chenggong,Kunming,the correlation of physical and mechanical parameters was studied.Taking the foundation pit support project of Jinan square as an example,the limit equilibrium method and the finite element method were used to verify the internal relationship between physical and mechanical parameters.(2)the mohr-coulomb constitutive model and the Cambridge constitutive model in the finite element numerical method were respectively calculated for the foundation pit deformation,and compared with the monitoring results,to explore the suitability of the two constitutive models in Kunming Chenggong silt clay.(3)the supporting method of deep foundation pit with a depth of 16 m in Chenggong silty clay environment in Kunming was analyzed and studied,and it was found that the supporting method of single row pile and three rows anchor cable was more suitable...
