With the improvement of armor protection level,the development of kinetic missile penetration technology has become an increasingly urgent need.In the past,the research object of traditional penetration mechanism mainly focused on the rod with the ratio of length to diameter of 15-25,and the range of velocity was mostly in the middle and high speed range of 1000-1800m/s.However,little research has been done on the penetration phenomena and mechanism of ultra-high speed and large aspect ratio rods as future kinetic energy missiles.To solve this problem,the penetration of longdiameter ratio rod into semi-infinite target in 1300m/s-2300m/s velocity range is studied by means of theoretical analysis,experimental verification and numerical simulation.The research results can provide reference for the design of long-diameter ratio rod projectile.The main research contents and results of this paper include:(1)Study on the penetration of ultra-high speed rod with large aspect ratio into semi-infinite target.In this paper,the penetration of ultra-high speed and large aspect ratio rod into semi-infinite target is studied experimentally,and the credible experimental data are obtained by simulation calculation,and the general rule of long rod penetration is obtained.(2)The calculation model of super-high speed large aspect ratio bar is established.In this paper,the existing penetration models are analyzed and compared,and the numerical calculation method is used to establish the computational model in the Matlab computing environment.Comparing the calculated results with the experimental results,the theoretical calculation model with better fitting degree is selected.(3)The existing model is modified and a new model reflecting the penetration of ultra-high speed and large aspect ratio rod into semi-infinite target is established.The length-diameter ratio factor is introduced into the screening model.Based on the simulation results,the empirical parameters are fitted,and a new penetration model reflecting the effect of length-diameter ratio is established.Comparing the results of the new model with those of the original model,the calculation accuracy of the new model is greatly improved.
