In this paper,based on the national science and technology major project "Research and Capacity Building on Common Technology of Functional Component Testing"(2016ZX04004007),the detection method and device of ball screw nut inner raceway profile are studied to meet the urgent need of the industry and fill the gap in the industry.According to the detection requirements of inner raceway profile of ball nut,laser triangulation method is proposed.Firstly,the ranging principle of laser triangulation method is analyzed,and the suitable laser displacement sensors are selected,capable of achieving measurement accuracy and measurement requirements.Secondly,a well-designed bracket measuring head and right-angle prism are used to protrude inside the nut for inspection.Finally,the sensor tooling and nut tooling are designed and installed on the existing screw profile detection device for testing.The test results fully prove the feasibility and accuracy of the detection method.The design of sensor tooling and nut tooling also adds valuable experience to the design of measurement equipment.The data processing algorithm of contour profile of nut inner raceway is proposed,which mainly includes preprocessing algorithm of experimental data,simplex arc fitting algorithm based on least square method,ball center obtaining algorithm,and the geometric parameters of nut inner raceway.Meanwhile,outer diameter data processing algorithm of nut is proposed.According to the overall design requirements,the measurement system is designed,including the mechanical system and measurement and control system.The mechanical system design of the measurement equipment mainly includes the bed and its internal components,the gantry,the nut inner race measuring component,the nut outer diameter measuring component and the nut tooling.The design of the measurement and control system mainly includes the motor control module and the data acquisition module.Accuracy analysis of the inner raceway profile measuring device of nut mainly includes measurement principle error,equipment manufacturing error and component installation error,and the method of calibration compensation for some errors is proposed.Finally,the overall accuracy of the measuring device is obtained and the use specification of the measuring device is formulated.
