Based on the background of key scientific research projects in 13th five-year,studying the chain-less supply structure driven by external drum.The feasibility of the supply system is verified by analyzing the structure and dynamic characteristics of the system.Firstly,according to the automation supply requirements,the relationships among the components of the system are introduced and the velocity matching analysis between the units and the driving characteristics analysis of the external drum are carried out.The specific structural models of the key mechanisms are also established.Secondly,the system dynamic model is built by bond space theory.Because the supply system is actually driven by the automation,the dynamics of the starting and shooting state of the automation is studied and the dynamic characteristics are analyzed by dynamic programming software.It is proved that the supply system can be driven by the automation,which lays foundation for the following simulation.Finally,the virtual prototype model of each connect module in the supply system has been established to analyzed the dynamic characteristics of bullet in each unit by virtual prototype analysis software.In addition,the strength of key parts is checked by finite element method and the stress and strain picture of each part are obtained,which verifies that the designed parts meet the strength requirements.In order to improve the system,this paper also carries out the impact analysis of the relevant parameters,which provides a basis for the following structural optimization.The supply structure studied in this paper is a new structure based on the original closed belt.It mainly verifies that the drum can be driven by the automation at low and medium speed.The simulation show that the feeding structure can realize the transmission of bullet between units.Based on these analysis,it solves the problem of how to drive the drum and make the bullet transfer between transmission units.The research realizes that the drum supply bullet to the automation continuously and stably.The methods and results also provide a basis for the subsequent improvement of the supply system.
