As an efficient and convenient container handling equipment in port,Rubber Tyred Gantry Crane(RTG)has the problems of high energy consumption and high emission.This paper takes KALMAR RTG as the research object,and uses hybrid technology to carry out energy-saving transformation.In addition,the research on lithium battery modeling,SOC estimation algorithm and equalization control strategy is carried out to realize efficient management and control of lithium battery pack.Firstly,According to the transformation requirements of hybrid power system,the hybrid RTG retrofit scheme and system components are designed.Aiming at the management and control of lithium battery pack in hybrid power system,the overall design of equalization control of lithium battery pack is completed.Then the charging and discharging characteristics of lithium battery are tested,and the parameters of lithium battery model is identified by HPPC experiment.The modeling of the lithium battery is completed by experimental simulation.Secondly,To overcome the shortcomings of traditional extended Kalman filter in estimating SOC of lithium batteries,this paper studies strong tracking filtering and Sage-Husa adaptive filtering methods,and proposes an improved Sage-Husa adaptive strong tracking Kalman filter algorithm.The experimental results of initial sensitivity,catastrophe tracking ability and estimation accuracy are compared,which proves that the improved algorithm has better robustness and accuracy.Thirdly,by analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the equalization structure in the form of converter,a centralized equalization topology based on Boost-Buck derivative circuit is proposed.The equalization control strategy based on SOC is studied,and the dynamic and static equalization control of lithium battery pack model is realized.Finally,the lithium battery assembly model and prototype test platform are built to complete the test of hybrid RTG prototype.Through the analysis of SOC accuracy and equalization control effect of lithium battery,the correctness and feasibility of the research content in this paper are verified.The equalization control system of lithium batteries studied in this paper has initially achieved the expected goal of equalization control of lithium batteries.The research contents provide reference for the efficient,refined and safe management of lithium battery packs.
