All the animals on earth has its own unique communication system,due to the different living environment and the long-term evolution,the mode of communication are different,the main way of information communication have smell(chemical)communication,hearing communication,visual communication,contact communication,electric communication,etc.Chemical communication plays a dominant role in the communication of most mammals.As to the function of chemical communication,the neural pathways and chemical communication of pheromone,many scholars have lots of explorations,to promote the fast development of mammal's chemical communication research field.In most mammals,chemical communication is the main way of communication,signal substance in the chemical communication called pheromones.The smell of mammals plays an important role in their reproductive regulation,the smell of many carnivorous animals contain the identification information of individual,gender,and groups.In mammals,urine is an important media material in the feild occupied,tags and individual identification.In addition,the animal release chemicals and the body(hormone),also known as smell,is a mixture of one or more of the chemical substances,is also the same animal messenger in the process of chemical communications.smell that animals by cenging yin,urining and defecating have funcations in maintainning the nest domain,the decrease of social level,in the rutting season,also have gender identification,sexual selection and estrus message function.Since the 1960s,mammal's chemical communication research has gradually become a very active area of research in the international biological sciences.Despite a large number of literature which describing the scent marks,due to the lack of rigorous related experimental research,it still makes us poorly understood in mammal's chemical communication mechanism and biological significance.Though chemical pheromones in the communication between the cat and the importance of social behavior has been noticed,we don't know the enough of relevant information.To a large extent,this situation hindered us understanding the relevant some of the information about domestic cats between individuals and the relations of sexes.In view of this,we take the cats as experimental animals,with cat urine as test material,using the method of behavior and headspace solid phase microextraction gas,researching the chemical communication mechanism of the behaviour of cat.Aimed to explore the volatile components of cat urine and urine pheromones.At the same time,can provide new oretical basis for the chemical communication of mammals.The results show that:1.The application of headspace solid phase microextraction gas,the best extraction conditions were determined,provide technical guarantee for the rapid determination of volatile components of domestic cat urine and further analysis and research.Results show that the best extraction conditions is the use of fiber 100?m PDMS,1.5 g saturated NaCl electrolyte,extraction time 40 min,extraction temperature 45?,the main volatile chemicals of the cat urine have 41 species,including aldehydes,ketones,alcohols,esters,hydrazine,hydrocarbon and other types of compound.Among them,Tetramethylpyrazine,2-Nonen-1-ol,Decanal,Butylated Hydroxytoluene,2,8-Dimethy lundecane may be the candidates of sex pheromone.2.On the condition of cat urine in different period,the thesis probes into the temptation to cat by studying the breeding cats for odor source choice behavior difference after being stimulated by the odor of estrogen male cat urine,estrogen female cats urine,affection male cats urine and affection female cats urine.The results showed that on the condition of the experiment,in the breeding season,estrogen male cat urine and estrogen female cats urine are the most attractive?3.On the condition of different concentration of Tetramethylpyrazine,2-Nonen-1-ol,Decanal,Butylated Hydroxytoluene,2,8-Dimethylundecane,the thesis probes into the temptation to cat by studying the breeding cats for odor source choice behavior difference after being stimulated by different concentration of Tetramethylpyrazine,2-Nonen-l-of,Decanal,Butylated Hydroxytoluene,2,8-Dimethylundecane.The results showed that Tetramethylpyrazine,2-Nonen-1-ol,Decanal,Butylated Hydroxytoluene are the cat urine pheromones,as to the cat's attractive,depends on the concentration of certain pheromones.in addition,2,8-Dimethylundecane would not be attractive to the cat,it may need further study.In conclusion,study shows that cat is inclined to choose estrogen male and female cats urine.The application of headspace solid phase microextraction gas,further study showed that Tetramethylpyrazine,2-Nonen-1-ol,Decanal,Butylated Hydroxytoluene is the cat urine pheromones,as to the cat's attractive,depends on the concentration of certain pheromones.
