In the process of the current agricultural development,the rise of conservation tillage and the requirements of improving the wear resistance of the agricultural machinery parts are more and more serious.Annually the wear causes economic and energetic losses.Domestic and foreign experts have done a lot of researches on the wear resistance of metal materials.The wear resistance of agricultural machinery parts seriously affects on the sustainable development of agriculture.The purpose of this paper is to improve the wear resistance of agricultural machinery parts.The object of this paper is the deep shovel tip and the material is ductile iron,adopting the method of re-optimizing the composition of ductile iron and regarding the lost foam casting as the technical means.Through analyzing the observation of the metallographic sample,the hardness measurement and the friction and wear test,the effects of different elements on the properties of ductile iron were investigated by using the metallographic microscope,Vickers hardness tests and vertical universal friction and wear test benches and so on.According to the experiment,the paper can obtain some results as follows:(1)Combined with the actual situation of the deep shovel tips,it can be determined that the wear resistance of shovel tips is abrasive wear.Recognizing the practical working conditions of shovel tips and analyzing the force on the shovel tips,the wear resistance of shovel tips,the size of shovel peaked angle,soil density and relationship of soil environment can be known.(2)The metallographic photo can clearly observe the microstructure of the sample.The amount of graphite is affected by various elements,and there are many graphites,but the graphite volume is small and the distribution is not uniform,indicating that the graphite spheroidization is incomplete.The amount of spheroidal graphite is small,mostly in worm-like graphite,mainly due to the low content of manganese,so more free cementite appears,and it will affects on the graphite morphology.(3)In the hardness test,it can be concluded from the hardness value and the range analysis that the hardness of 3.7 % C,2.2 % Si,and 0.4% Mn is 481.2HV.(4)Friction and wear is to test the wear resistance of the test samples.The friction coefficient and the wear weightlessness of the test are key data.And it can be seen from thedata of the nine groups,the wear weightlessness of 3.7 % C,2.2 % Si,and 0.4% Mn is 1 mg and the friction coefficient is 0.087.Through the analysis of metallographic photo and various performance tests on the tip of various ingredients.It is found that the composition of the metallographic photo with 3.7% C,2.2% Si,0.4%Mn has a better effort,and the hardness is 481.2HV.The wear weight lossness is 1mg and the coefficient of friction is 0.087.The optimum composition of the cutting edge is 3.7%C,2.2% Si,0.4%Mn.The hardness of ductile iron is improved,the wear resistance of deep shovel tips is enhanced and the craft of shovel tips wear resistance is simplified when using the method of re-optimizing the composition of ductile iron.It decreases production cost and increases pratical benefits.
