Juglans mandshurica Maxim has been cultivated in large areas because of its high economic value and ecological value.However,from the current research status,how to cultivate a large number of high quality Juglans mandshurica seedlings is a key problem to be solved urgently.In this paper,two seedling breeding methods,namely ridge sowing and bed sowing,were studied.Effects of different fertilization treatments on the growth and physiological characteristics of Juglans mandshurica seedling under different seedling density.The suitable seedling raising method,density and fertilization scheme of Juglans mandshurica tree were screened out to provide the basis for the study of efficient seedling raising technology of Juglans mandshurica tree.This will provide a large number of high quality seedlings for forestry production and promote the development of Juglans mandshurica tree industry.The results are as follows:1. The seedling height,ground diameter,root length,number of lateral roots,biomass and photosynthetic characteristics of Juglans mandshurica all increased first and then decreased with the increase of seedling density.In ridge sowing,except for seedling height,number of lateral roots and chlorophyll,there were significant differences in density among other indicators?P<0.05?,10 N/m was the best seedling density in ridge sowing.In bed sowing,except for the number of lateral roots,there were significant differences in density between other indicators?P<0.05?,100 N/m2was the best seedling density in bed sowing.The seedling height,ground diameter,root growth and biomass of seedlings raised by ridge sowing were higher than those raised by bed sowing.2. The seedling height,ground diameter,root length,number of lateral roots,biomass and photosynthetic characteristics of Juglans mandshurica increased first and then decreased with the increase of fertilization by ridge sowing,except for the main root length,there were significant differences among all treatments in all indexes?P<0.05?.When N2P2K3,N2P3K1 and N3P1K3 were fertilized,the growth of seedlings tended to be stable.Comprehensive analysis showed that N2P3K1 was the best fertilizing treatment for ridge seeding of Juglans mandshurica.The seedling height,ground diameter,root length,number of lateral roots,biomass and photosynthetic characteristics of Juglans mandshurica increased with the increase of fertilization by bed sowing,except for the main root length,there were significant differences among all treatments in all indexes?P<0.05?.N3P1K3 and N3P3K2 are two kinds of fertilization treatments,the seedling growth is more ideal.According to the comprehensive analysis,the best fertilization treatment for the bed seeding of Juglans mandshurica is N3P3K2.3. There was a significant correlation between growth index,biomass and photosynthetic characteristics of Juglans mandshurica after fertilization.
