The Expression And Significance Of Survivin And Caspase-3 In Ocular Adnexal MALT Lymphoma

AbstractObjectiveAim To investigate the expression and relationship of Survivin and Caspase-3 in mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue(MALT)lymphoma of ocular adnexal.,and the relationship between the two with the onset of MALT lymphoma.MethodsThe expression of Survivin and Caspase-3 were detected on resected specimens from patients suffering from MALT lymphoma(50 cases as treatment group)and lymphadenosis(12 cases as control group)of ocular adnexal by immunohistochemical analysis.And statistical analysis was carried out on the expression and correlation of the two.ResultsThe positive expression of Survivin protein and Caspase 3 in two groups are significant difference(?~2=24.60?8.37,P<0.05).The expression of Survivin and Caspase3 protein expression was significantly related with Ann Arbor clinical staging(?~2=5.82?7.03,P<0.05);And has nothing to do with patient age,gender(P>0.05)..In MALT lymphoma treated,Survivin negatively correlated with Caspase 3 expression(r=-0.303,P<0.05).ConclutionSurvivin and Caspase-3 may play a role in the occurrence of ocular adnexal MALT lymphoma.Survivin can inhibit the activity of Caspase 3 thereby inhibition of MALT lymphoma treated cells apoptosis.
