Clinical Observation On 80 Cases Of Peripheral Facial Paralysis Treated With Acupuncture And Modified Qianzheng Powder

Purpose:This study was aimed at observing the clinical effects of combining acupuncture with Jia wei Qian zheng San in treating the cold-type peripheral facial paralysis,and try to state its mechanism.In the end,we hope to find a method for the treatment which is safety,effect,and no side effects.Research Methods:This study randomly divided 8o patients,meeting the inclusion criteria,which were diagnosised for the cold-type peripheral facial paralysis into two arms.One was the treatment arm,the other was the control arm.Each arm had 40 patients.The experimental arm was treated with acupuncture combining with Jiawei qianzheng San,while the control arm was treated with acupuncture combining with qianzheng San.At the same time,both arms were given hormone shock and b group vitamin nutrition nerve treatment.The basic information of patients and the scores of each observation index were recorded on the first day of the group and the first day of the group respectively.The data were entered into excel to establish a database,and the curative effect was analyzed by SPSS 20.0 software.Results: 1 After 3 weeks of treatment,the experimental arm was cured in 9 cases(22.5 %),markedly effective in 29 cases(72.5 %),effective in 1 case(2.5 %),ineffective in 1 case(2.5 %),the total effective rate was 97.5 %,the more obvious rate was 95 %;The control arm was cured in 3 cases(7.5 %),markedly effective in 28 cases(70.0 %),effective in 7 cases(17.5 %),ineffective in 2 cases(5.0 %),the total effective rate was 95 %,the more obvious rate was 77.5 %,the difference between the two arms was statistically significant(p < 0.05).2 After the course of treatment,the total score of each observation index in the experimental arm decreased from 14.78 points to 2.18 points,while that in the control arm decreased from 14.63 points to 3.65 points.the scores in both arms decreased compared with that before treatment(p< 0.05),and the decrease of scores in the experimental arm was larger than that in the control arm(p< 0.05).Conclusion:1 Both acupuncture combining with Jiawei qianzheng San and acupuncturecombining with qianzheng San have good clinical curative effect on patients with wind-cold peripheral facial paralysis,the effective rate can reach more than 95 %,but the former has more significant clinical effect than the latter.2 Acupuncture combining with Jiawei qianzheng San and acupuncture combining with qianzheng San can significantly improve the facial symptoms of patients with wind-cold type peripheral facial paralysis,but acupuncture combining with Jiawei qianzheng San has better application effect,can better and faster recovery of facial symptoms,improve the quality of life of patients.
