| With the development of social and Internet technologies,people are not satisfied with the traditional medical care methods that are unilaterally accepted by doctors.More and more people are involved in active self-health management,and online health communities have emerged as a platform for people,which satisfied the needs of health information and emotions for patients.The online health community has provided a platform for patients to communicate with doctors and patients across regions,and better integrate medical resources for patients.In recent years,it has flourished.As a special community for people with diabetes,the online diabetes community has become an important platform for diabetic patients to search for relevant diseases and drug information and to conduct emotional conversations.At present,the research in the online diabetes community is mainly based on type 2 diabetes patients.However,as a more special group,type 1 diabetes patients are especially important for their topic exploration and sentiment analysis in the community.Based on the user’s post data of the online diabetes community(Sweet Home)type 1 diabetes section,this paper uses topic analysis and sentiment analysis methods to study the topics discussed by users in the online diabetes community and the preferences of expressing emotions,and further classify community users.Through the classification of user participation and gender classification,the differences in posting topics and emotional expressions of different clusters are further explored.The results showed that:(1)The subjects discussed in the type 1 diabetes community were divided into eight categories: inter-patient communication,instrument use,daily diet,family life,request for help,symptom description,emotional expression,life and work.(2)The emotions expressed in the posts sent by patients in the type 1 diabetes community are mostly negative emotions.(3)Different groups of users have great differences in posting topics and sentiment analysis results,and different genders have great differences in posting topics.This article theoretically supplements the existing literature on the topical research of patients with type 1 diabetes in the online diabetes community,and the lack of emotional expression of type 1 diabetes patients in the community,which enriches relevant field research in a certain sense.In addition,in practical applications,this paper uses the data of the sweet home in the online diabetes community in China,which helps the platform operators to better provide management suggestions for users in the community and promote better development of the community;for medical professionals,Provides a richer perspective for professionals to access patients and better provide patients with medical services. |
