A Real-world Study Of Qijiao Shengbai Capsule In Preventing Myelosuppression Caused By PP Regimen

Objective:To retrospective the effects of Qijiao Shengbai capsule on bone marrow suppression,index of cellular immunity,quality of life score(KPS score)and TCM syndrome score after chemotherapy with pemetrexed combined with cisplatin/carboplatin treatment.Methods:Screened patients from the clinical trial website,then divided into control group:Lixuesheng group,and observation group:Qijiao Shengbai capsule.Control patients oral Lixuesheng during chemotherapy period,while experimental patients oral Qijiao Shengbai capsule.Observe the occurrence of bone marrow suppression in the two groups,the number of cases of remedial use of G-CSF or TPO or IL-11,liver and kidney function,KPS score,TCM syndrome score after 2 cycles of chemotherapy.Finally,the data collected in this study are analyzed by SPSS25.0 software.Results:A statistical analysis of baseline data and blood routine before chemotherapy showed that there is no statistically significant difference between two groups(P>0.05).1.Bone marrow suppression:the incidence of bone marrow suppression is 82.7%in the control group and 66.2%in the observation group respectively,the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05);the incidence of severe bone marrow suppression was 19.2%in the control group and 14.1%in the observation group respectively,but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Since the study was a retrospective study,although strict qualification conditions were used to select enrolled cases,further stratified analysis is still needed due to the inconsistent number of enrolled.Stratified analysis by sex,KPS score,age,and use of platinum.As for sex,the results showed that the incidence of myelosuppression in the observation group was less than that in the control group(P<0.05),the incidence of severe myelosuppression in the observation group was less than that in the control group,but the difference was not significant(P>0.05).The results showed that in cisplatin group,the incidence of bone marrow suppression in observation group was less than that in control group(P<0.05),while in carboplatin group,the use of Qijao Shengbai capsule did not significantly change the occurrence of bone marrow suppression(P>0.05);Regarding the incidence of severe myelosuppression,in the cisplatin group,the incidence of severe myelosuppression was lower in the observation group than in the control group,but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),while in the carboplatin group,the use of Qijaoshengbai capsule prevented the occurrence of severe myelosuppression,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.KPS score comparison:Chi-square test was used for the KPS scores of the two groups,and the improvement rate of the KPS score in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the results indicated that the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Using stratified chi-square analysis to test gender,the improvement rate of KPS score in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The KPS score improvement rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).3.TCM syndrome score comparison:Using chi-square test,the results suggested that the effective rate of TCM syndrome in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Using stratified chi-square analysis to test gender,the results showed that the effective rate of TCM syndrome was significantly higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);To test age,the effective rate of TCM syndrome was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Safety test:in terms of liver and kidney function,the two groups were mainly ?,? grade injury,and the rank sum test was carried out,and the results showed that the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Qijiao Shengbai capsule can obviously prevent the occurrence of mild bone marrow suppression by PP regimen in clinic and can improve a series of adverse reactions caused by bone marrow suppression after chemotherapy,and there are no severe toxic side effects.Therefore,Qijiao Shengbai capsule can be used prevention before chemotherapy to reduce the occurrence of bone marrow suppression and make patients more safe chemotherapy.
