Objective: Based on Th17/Treg cell imbalance,the effect of Bufei Decoction on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)rats was studied.By detecting the changes of TGF-?1,IL-17,IL-6,and IL-23 levels in serum and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid,the possible mechanism of Bufei Decoction in the treatment of COPD is explored,which provides a certain way for the clinical application of Bufei Decoction in the treatment of COPD.Methods: A total of 30 clean grade SD rats were randomly divided into blank group,model group and traditional Chinese medicine group,10 rats in each group.The COPD model was replicated by smoking for 70 days combined with 2 times of intratracheal lipopolysaccharide(LPS)instillation methods.After the model was established successfully,gavage of Bufei Decoction was started on the 71 st day,and related samples were collected after 15 days of continuous medication.Throughout the experiment,the general state of rats and changes in body weight were dynamically observed.One day after the last gavage,the lung function of the rat was tested.Collect lung tissues of rats and observe the pathological changes of lung tissues by HE staining.The peripheral blood and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid of rats were collected,and the expression of TGF-? 1,IL-17,IL-6,IL-23 was detected by ELISA.Results:1.The general condition of rats in each group: the weight of the model group and the traditional Chinese medicine group is lower than that of the blank group,and there is irritability and irritability,which is more obvious after the smoking is stopped,and the condition of the traditional Chinese medicine group isimproved after the treatment.2.Pathological changes of lung tissue in each group of rats: The lung tissue of the blank group was generally normal,and the lung tissue of the model group showed obvious signs of emphysema,and the rats of the traditional Chinese medicine group also showed signs of emphysema,but it was better than that of the model group.slight.3.Lung function: Compared with the blank group,the airway resistance of the model group was significantly increased(P <0.05),and the lung compliance was significantly reduced(P <0.05);compared with the model group,the airway resistance of the Chinese medicine group rats Significantly decreased(P <0.05),and lung compliance increased(P <0.05).4.Compared with the blank group,the serum TGF-?1expression in the model group was significantly reduced(P <0.05),and the expressions of IL-17,IL-6,and IL-23 were all increased(P <0.05).Compared with the blank group,the expression of TGF-?1 in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid of the model group was decreased(P <0.05),and the expressions of IL-17,IL-6,and IL-23 were increased(P <0.05);compared with the model group In contrast,the expression of TGF-?1 in the serum of rats in the traditional Chinese medicine group increased(P <0.05),and the expressions of IL-17,IL-6,and IL-23 all decreased(P <0.05).TGF in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid of rats in the traditional Chinese medicine group-? 1 expression increased(P <0.05),IL-6expression decreased(P <0.05),IL-23 and IL-17 expression had no significant difference(P> 0.05).Conclusion:Bufeitang can improve the pathological changes of pulmonary emphysema in COPD rats and improve the lung function of COPD rats.Bufeitang may adjust the immune imbalance of COPD rats by affecting Th17/Treg balance.
