| Objective:By observing the clinical effect of modified Taohong Siwu Decoction on the improvement of early swelling and pain and functional rehabilitation of patients after meniscus plasty,and to preliminarily discuss the effect of traditional Chinese medicine for promoting blood circulation,Qi and water circulation on the elimination of swelling and pain and the recovery of early joint function after meniscus plasty,so as to provide a certain scientific basis for the rehabilitation of patients with meniscus injury after meniscus plasty.Methods:From December 2018 to January 2020,60 patients who were diagnosed as meniscus injuries and undergoing plastic surgery in the Department of Limb and Joint of the First Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were collected,and they met the diagnostic and inclusion criteria of Chinese and Western medicine in this trial,30 cases were divided into control group and observation group by the method of random number table,In the control group,the patients was given cold therapy with hypothermia impact analgesia instrument for the knee,prophylactic application of antibacterial drugs,elastic bandage compression bandage,timely dressing change based on wound exudate,functional exercise,etc.for basic treatment,The patients in the observation group were treated with modified Taohong Siwu Decoction for one week on the basis of the basic treatment in the control group.During the treatment period,VAS pain score,knee circumference and Lysholm function score of the observation group and the control group were observed and recorded on the 1st,3rd,5th and 7th postoperative days respectively,and the swelling value was calculated compared with the preoperative knee circumference,and the safety and effectiveness of the treatment were evaluated.SPSS20.0 software was used to statistically analyze the results of collected clinical data,and setting P<0.05 as statistically significant.Results:(1)Two of the patients in the group were discharged early and lost follow-up,so they could not collect data information effectively and stop the trial.Another patient failed to take Chinese medicine as required by the notification and withdrew from the trial.There were 29 cases in the control group,28 cases in the observation group,and 57 cases were actually completed.(2)Comparison of baseline data such as gender,age,and affected side between the two groups was not statistically significant(P> 0.05),and was comparable.(3)Intra-group comparison:after treatment,the pain VAS scores and the swelling of the affected knee in the observation group and control group decreased,and the Lysholm score was higher than before.(4)comparison among groups:There was no significant difference in VAS pain score and affected knee swelling value between the two groups on the 1st and 3rd day after operation(P > 0.05),but there was significant difference on the 5th and 7th day after operation(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the Lysholm scores of patients between the two groups on the 1st,3rd,5th days after operation(P>0.05),and there was a statistical difference on the 7th day after operation(P<0.05),and the effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group.(5)During treatment,no adverse reactions occurred in both groups.Conclusion:After meniscus plasty operation,modified Taohong Siwu decoction combined with hypothermia impact analgesia instrument cold therapy and other basic treatment measures for Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome patients with knee swelling and pain,is more effective,which is conducive to early knee swelling fade,better reduce local pain,promote early recovery of limb function,and better treatment effect than basic treatment group.At the same time,there were no obvious adverse events in the course of the trial,and the drug safety was better,which could be promoted clinically. |
