Observation On The Curative Effect Of Bushen Huoxue Decoction In Treating Osteoporotic Vertebral Compression Fractures With Residual Low Back Pain After PKP Operation

Purpose:Observe and analyze the clinical effect of Bushen Huoxue Decoction on residual low back pain after vertebral body kyphoplasty for osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures of kidney deficiency and blood stasis.Material and method:70 patients with residual low back pain 48 hours after vertebral body kyphoplasty who were in compliance with renal deficiency and blood stasis type osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures were selected from April 2018 to October 2019 in the Department of Orthopedics,Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Random number table method was used to divide them into 35 cases of Bushen Huoxue Tang group and 35 cases of Meloxicam group.The patients in both groups were treated for 2 weeks,followed up for 2 weeks after discontinuation of the drug.During the follow-up,6 cases fell off for various reasons.Finally,64 patients were included,32 in the observation group and 32 in the control group.Observe the gender,age,bone density and fracture segment distribution of the two groups of patients.The VAS score,ODI score and TCM symptom score of the two groups of patients on the third day after surgery,2 weeks after taking the drug and 4 weeks after taking the drug.Results:1.There was no statistically significant difference in gender,age,bone density,and fracture segment distribution between the two groups of general data(P> 0.05),the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).2.The VAS score,ODI score,and TCM symptom scores of the two groups were compared between 2 weeks after taking the medicine and the 3rd postoperative day.There was no significant difference in VAS score,ODI score and TCM symptom score between the two groups on the third day after operation(P> 0.05);There was no significant difference in VAS score and ODI score between the two groups after 2 weeks of medication(P> 0.05),and the difference in TCM symptom score was statistically significant(P <0.05).3.There was no significant difference in VAS score,ODI score and TCM symptom score between the 4 weeks after taking the medicine and the 2 weeks after taking the medicine in the Bushen Huoxue decoction group(P> 0.05),But there were statistically significant differences in the meloxicam group(P <0.05);The difference in VAS score,ODI score and TCM symptom score between the two groups after taking the medicine for 4 weeks was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusions:Oral Bushen Huoxue Decoction and Meloxicam Capsule in the short term are equivalent to relieve residual low back pain after kyphoplasty and improve function;However,oral supplementary kidney and blood circulation soup has fewer adverse reactions,longer lasting effects,and more advantages in improving TCM symptoms.
