Research On The Image Of Wanderers From The Perspective Of Archetypes

Vagrancy is an important motif in literature.In history,vagrancy is an active reaction for our ancient ancestors to adapt to the dynamic nature.It is s an ancient and enduring way to human for long.The vagrant,as a subject of vagrancy,is both the most vivid and concrete manifestation of the wondering spirit of the natural,and it is also a reflection of the living conditions of human beings.In the early forms of human literature,like myths legends and religious classics,the image of vagrants has emerged.During the subsequent development of literary history,the narratives and descriptions of vagrants have repeatedly occurred,which has become a kind of important traditions in literature history.In a large number of vagrancy narrative texts,vagrants are both the key identity of the protagonist,but also is an image or archetype,demonstrating the complex and memory of vagrancy in human consciousness.This article is based on the mythological archetype criticism view of the literature in the vagrants,and strive to sort out the Chinese and Western vagrants image to make it more systematically.The vagrant prototype revealing the most primitive human psychological model,pondering and exploring the historical evolution and the real existence of the humanist connotation.This article re-interpreting the vagrant prototype to show its unique charm and important status.The thesis is divided into three parts:The first chapter is a basic introduction to the theory of mythological archetype criticism,focusing on the analysis of Frye's archetype theory,explaining the reasons why the vagrant is a prototype,exploring the origins of vagrant archetypes and the evolution of vagrant images in history.The second part is through the analysis of a large number of texts in literary history,summarizes and sums up the four basic forms of vagrant archetypes,analyzes and introduces the image sources and artistic characteristics of each type.In the last part,we comb the images of the vagrants in Chinese history and compare the reasons for the differences between China and the West,and trace the uniqueness of vagrants in the context of Chinese culture.
