In English teaching,the teacher's teaching language is not only a major source of English input is an important way of teaching students,for students' English learning and its important role in English Teaching in primary school,so Chinese should use or how much is always a problem we dispute.Historically,the two extreme views of Chinese existing in English teaching,one that should not use Chinese in English teaching,have a negative attitude to Chinese intervention;the other is that Chinese is very important in English teaching,English teaching requires a combination of Chinese to complete.ln recent years,the Chinese language has only played a negative role in the teaching of English.It should not use Chinese or reduce the number of Chinese use as far as possible.However,in the actual English teaching,the use of Chinese is not satisfactory,and it can not achieve the desired effect of English teaching.The standard of compulsory education English Course(2011 Edition)requires the cultivation of students' interest in English learning and the improvement of the ability of the students to use the English language.ls it feasible to teach only in English in primary school English teaching?If English and Chinese combined instruction is beneficial to students' learning,how should we use Chinese in English teaching?The main preparatory work of this study mainly focuses on the origin of the research,the research issues,the research methods,and the significance of the research.To observe the use of Chinese in three primary schools in Shenyang and record the observation data.Through the investigation,we can understand the views of teachers and students on the use of Chinese in primary school English teaching.To determine whether there is a problem of inappropriate use of Chinese Auxiliary English Teaching in three primary schools in Shenyang,we analyze the causes of inappropriate use of Chinese in three primary schools in Shenyang,and explore strategies suitable for Chinese primary English teaching.The inspiration for our primary school English teaching is that the proper use of Chinese in primary school English teaching can increase the enthusiasm of English learning and reduce the difficulty of English learning.But the premise is the proper use of Chinese,Chinese only plays the role of auxiliary English teaching,not the abuse of Chinese.We should fully realize that the use of Chinese in English teaching is only a means to help English learning,not a purpose.
