Research On Traditional Marriage Customs And Music In Northern Shaanxi

This paper takes the wedding music of Northern shaanxi as the object of study,through the marriage ceremony and custom,the application and evolution of instrumental music and folk songs in Yulin Township,Northern shaanxi Province,and so on,by using the method of ethnomusicology,the paper conducts a field investigation and oral interview on the wedding ceremony and custom music in Gaoxigou,MizhiCounty,combing and summing up the performance patterns and laws of folk songs and instrumental music in the marriage custom music of Northern shaanxi,and the overall situation of the drum music team,The characteristics of the mode of music,playing skills and other aspects of the return Inclusion and conclusion,to explore the relationship between wedding ceremony and music and its value and significance.The first chapter of this paper includes the reason of choosing the topic,the research goal and content,the research method and the difficult point and so on,through the review of the existing research results and the consideration of the present situation of wedding music in Northern Shaanxi,this paper puts forward the research methods and concrete steps of the wedding folk music.Thesecond chapter describes the geographical characteristics of Northern Shaanxi macroscopically,historical origin and the general structure of the wedding;Thethird chapter is the microscopic description of the Mizhi County GaoXigou wedding case investigation and record;Thefourth chapter starts from the noumenon of wedding music,summarizes the variation mode of the general performance mode of folk songs and instrumental music;Thefifth chapter contrasts the difference between the traditional marriage music and the modern marriage custom music from the change of drum traditional music and folk song singing.Thesixth chapter summarizes the cultural function of music in folk wedding rituals.This paper analyzes and summarizes the general structure of marriage customs in Northern Shaanxi and the advocating music and folk songs in music,It is believed that the function of music in the whole wedding ceremony in Northern Shaanxi is not only to render atmosphere and entertainment,more is to order the whole wedding with a specific musical behavior.
