As we all know, the education and learning of the second language is a long and slow effect thing.Second language acquisition is the unconscious learning of the second languages except the mother tongue,in another word,is implicit learning. The academic circle has been arguing about the age of second language acquisition. Some researchers believe that children’s second language acquisition initial speed is faster than that of adults. Some researchers believe that adults’ two language acquisition initial speed is faster than that of children. Some researchers think there is no significant difference between them. The most famous theory is Critical Period Hypothesis. The hypothesis assumes that human language learning has a critical period.Once we miss this critical period,we will not be able to acquire language naturally and efficiently. This study challenges the hypothesis through the experiment of implicit learning. This study includes two experiments. In the first experiment,2 x 2 x 2 groups were designed. The first factor is age, which is divided into two levels:adults and children, and the sophomore of college and grade four of primary school are used as subjects. The second factor is material familiarity, divided into familiar and unfamiliar language materials.using English as the familiar language material, and Korean as the unfamiliar language material.Factor three is the sensory channel, which is divided into vision and audition. The complex rule: Finite-state artificial grammar is used as a paradigm to test their implicit learning performance. The influence of age, sensory channel and material familiarity on learning achievement in complex grammar was explored. The second experiment is based on a simple rule: Biconditional artificial grammar as the paradigm. The rest of the experiment explores the effect of age, sensory access and corpus familiarity on achievement under the condition of low difficulty. Finally, the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Under the complex grammar, the main effect of age is significant. The adult’s implicit learning achievement is better than the implicit learning achievement of the children.(2)Under the complex grammar, the main effect of the familiarity of the material is significant. The implicit learning achievement of the familiar material language material is better than the implicit learning achievement of the unfamiliar language materials.(3)Under the complex grammar, the main effect of the sensory channel is very significant. The performance of audition implicit learning is better than that of vision implicit learning.(4)Under complex grammar, interaction between age and material familiarity, interaction between age and sensory channel, interaction between corpus familiarity and sensory channel, and interaction between age, corpus familiarity and sensory channel were not significant.(5)Under the simple grammar, the main effect of the familiarity of the material is significant. The implicit learning achievement of the language materials is better than the implicit learning achievement that is not familiar with the language materials. There is noimplicit learning in unfamiliar language materials.(6)Under simple grammar, age and material familiarity have interaction.(7)Under simple and law,the main effect of age,the main effect of sensory channel, the interaction between age and sensory channel, the interaction between corpus familiarity and sensory channel, and the interaction between age, corpus familiarity and sensory channel were not significant.According to these conclusions,It is believed that it is very important to learn through auditory learning in the process of second language acquisition. If adults want to learn a foreign language, they are not inferior to children in their implicit learning ability.
