Since 1895,when the French Lumiere brothers filmed early films such as "Factory Gate" and "Training into the Station",the film art has experienced more than 100 years of development. In the 1940s,Hollywood produced a large number of movies with the theme of crime, detectives, and unique visual features and narrative features-"black movies." The black film, through its fascinating forms of expression, refers directly to the dark side of society and human nature, and shows its own unique charm on both the form and the text.Nowadays, with the development of the popularization of film and television shooting equipment and information network technology. The concept of micro-movie was quickly noticed by the public and became a hot topic in the online platform. The acceleration of the rhythm of people's working life has enabled the short and sleek but richly-contained micro-movies to become the hotspot types of current film creation.However,black-type microfilms are rare.In this context, based on my own original play,I created the black-type micro-movie "Night of Thrills." This work is based on the related theories of black film and personal shooting experience, combined with the development of the field of film and television production, first explained the research and development status of micro-film and black film, and secondly,I discussed the type of black film for me.The reasons for the selection, the relationship between the characters and the story structure. It also explains the practical exploration of this type of black movie in the film"Night of Thrills".Finally, based on the characteristics of audiovisual language in black movies, the visual conception, lens design, lighting layout, recording of the same period, and post-editing of "Night of Thrills" were analyzed in order to provide certain reference for related film and television practice.
