A Study Of Daily Life Narration In Urban Novels Since The 1990s

"City" grew up with the rise and development of urbanization.The depiction of the city in Chinese modern and contemporary literature has a long history."New Sensation School" in the 1920s and 1930s was for the bizarre urban space.The show has shown a new trait in the history of literature.Compared to the local literature that was created in large numbers,the writers started to develop the theme of "modern city" and continued to develop with this approach.In the new era,with the reform and opening up and the rapid progress of the city,modern cities began to really develop.Since the 1990s,the development of urban fiction has begun to mature,and the city has truly become an independent writing object,rather than being Place it in a critical position in contrast with the native lands.To thoroughly study the daily life narration in the urban novels since the 1990s,we must first clarify the two concepts of urban literature and daily life.This thesis will use Yi Junqing’s daily life theory.Based on this,we will explore how urban novels since the 1990s represent urban daily life and some of the new contents of urban daily life in this period.At the same time,we will explore how the characters in urban fiction bear in the urban daily life space.Some traits,cities affect people,alienation,and provide a possible solution to such an alienation,this is the basic idea of this paper.This thesis is divided into four chapters,which will examine the contents of the daily life narrative of urban novels since 1990s.The introduction part first briefly explains the theory of daily life,the writing tradition and origin of urban theme novels,points out the connotation and extension of urban literature,and then sorts out the status quo and inadequacies of urban literature research,and puts forward the research ideas of this thesis.The first chapter discusses the composition and structure of the urban daily space,discusses the exterior physical form of the city,and the specific living space and psychological space within the city,and points out the specific time and space in which the urban fiction story can be unfolded.The second chapter analyzes the basic types of daily life and the basic schema of daily living,daily interaction world,and the daily concept world compared to traditional rural society.The third chapter analyzes the characters’ images in the texts of urban novels.It is divided into three aspects:the mediocre citizenship,the non-integration of the city’s outsiders,and the rebellious "marginal people" to show the different forms of life in the urban daily life world.The fourth chapter summarizes the alienation characteristics of daily life in urban areas,and first discusses the causes and concrete manifestations of the alienation of urban daily life in this period from the aspects of emotional loss,expansion of urban desire,and alienation of people’s heart.In the face of such alienation,the writer pointed out to the modern city people what kind of self-salvation road.This article starts from the daily life narration of urban fictions of this period and looks back on the "local" basis to complete a preliminary analysis of the basic characteristics of daily life in modern cities,which is different from traditional rural narratives,and tries to point out the urban writing.There may be some problems.
