"Lianshi" is a book compiled by Wang Chutong in Qing Dynasty.The book is rich in content.It is a special record of Chinese ancient female characters,deeds and various aspects of social life related to women.The book consists of one hundred volumes,which are divided into thirty-six categories.The sixty-eighth volume to volume seventieth is "Chaichuan"."Chaichuan" refers to a woman's ornament."Chaichuan"preserves a large number of valuable literature on ancient women's ornaments through a rich book of citation.These documents complement and support each other with image and material data,such as calligraphy and painting,statues,etc.,which is very important for studying the social life of ancient women.However,the book did not get enough thorough and detailed collation and research.In view of the current situation of such research,this paper first study literature from the perspective of the school and detailed notes on "Chaichuan",do the literature work.Next,on the basis of the documents done,to study the contents of the literature included in "Chaichuan".According to this idea,this paper is divided into two parts:literature collation and content research.In view of the reasons of the style,the content research part is taken as the main body,and the literature collation is attached to the text.The main body of this article mainly contains the following aspects:First of all,starting from this part of the text,image,combined with the relevant literature and archaeological data,combing with the research of the system of the contents of this part in the headdress,earrings and bracelet,clear the name,basic shapes and wear style etc..As for the jewelry with less existing data and difficult to verify the specific form,the relevant literature is also listed as systematic as possible for reference.Secondly,according to the cited literature,to study the ancient women's headdress,earrings and jewelry making materials and other common patterns.By summarizing,can be made of female ornaments can be divided into metal,precious stones,some plant material and cloth paper,shapes and patterns can be roughly divided into flowers and birds and other fish including condensed natural beauty and dragon and phoenix,Ruyi,weapons and other two kinds of humanistic feelings bailment.After that,we compare the ornaments used by the alien and exotic women in the literature with the ornaments of the women in the Central Plains,and summarize their similarities and differences in materials and modeling,and analyze the reasons for these similarities and differences.Next,to study the use of female jewelry in this part of the content.According to records,we can see that the ancient women's headdress,earrings and jewelry in addition to practical and decorative function itself,there is an important symbol of capital function.In the field of public and private,women's ornaments are given as gifts,letters,and property,with the rich use of reward,tribute,gift,and trade.Finally,the comprehensive research,in-depth study of ancient female headdress,earrings and jewelry in the cultural connotation of the literature through these female ornaments reflected the social and political system,the economy,the status of women,the content of aesthetic concept.The appendix of this article is the document sorting part,which mainly punctuated and corrected part of the literature of "Chaichuan".The text is reproduced in accordance with Yi Jianga's carving copy The second year of emperor Jiaqing of the Qing dynasty.In order to ensure a true reflection of the original content,not directly modify,maintain the original word error,missing words,redundancy due to misprinting or miscopying and taboo etc.In view of characteristics of the book is reference books with material taken from various sources and arranged accord,I collate it mainly from better books arrange by contemporary.
