A Historical Investigation Of The Changes In The System Of Si Confucianism In The Qing Dynasty

Began in period of Spring and Autumn,the Worship Confucius system formed in the Han Dynasty in state.It was expanded in the wei and jin dynasty,culminated in the sui and tang dynasties.and change from Song dynasty to Ming dynasty and continue to the Qing dynasty,about two thousand years ago.Worship Confucius is one of the important tradition to express respect for Confucius and after emperor Wu of the Han dynasty listed Confucian culture as the ruling ideology,it was of great political significance to sacrifice Confucius.The Qing Dynasty inherited this trend.When the Qing Dynasty was first established,the Qing Dynasty's system of Worship Confucius was built in imitation of the Ming dynastywith little changes.however,emperors began to carry out policies named “Can Han Zhuo Jin” during period of great prosperity of Qing,which resulted in some institutional changes.For instance,Emperor Kang Xi to followed the old rules of Han Dynasty and toured/ had some tours at Qufu,as well as sacrifice to Confucius in person,and use three nine knocking on my hands and knees etiquette,as the beginning of the change.Emperor yongzheng promoted the system of Confucius.Emperor qianlong elevated the system to its peak.This is both political and Confucian.Nevertheless,after1840,the Chinese social structure gradually changed in the western learning,and Confucius,although there were no changes in the system,had gradually declined.But for the sake of faith,the qing emperors still promoted the specifications of Confucius,but the effect was the opposite.Through the changes of sacrifice to Confucius in the Qing dynasty,we can conclude that the changes in the system of sacrifice to Confucius in the Qing dynasty,mainly is the dual effects of politics and religion,we continue to use consider politics,also cannot ignore the faith factors under the influence of the Confucian culture.
