Appeared In the 1990 s to Sarah Kane and Martin mike doner represented the world of Chinese opera rookie third drama twist — "is unable to avoid drama(In-yer-face Theatre)",the whole the world of Chinese opera.The Kane drama reflects the life style and situation of drug users and homosexuals in the subculture of social development at that time,which is full of the atmosphere of violence.As one of Ireland's most talented playwrights,McDonnell's work shows the brutal violence of loneliness and repression in the most intimate relationships.In the 20 th century,Chinese drama has completely broken the self-sealing development mode and began to be impacted by the world drama.The collision between western drama and Chinese opera promotes the change and development of Chinese drama.From the drama theory of Ibsen,alto and osborne,the postmodernism thought has its influence in China,and the small theater and the pioneer drama have played a great role in the Chinese drama stage.This article tries from Sarah Kane and Martin mike doner post-modern drama development under the style of "face to face with drama",by comparing the two writers drama theme,structure and stage performance,analysis of the reference and innovation of predecessors' plays,on this basis,the key to interpret the feasibility of this kind of "face" drama development in China.The first chapter of this article introduces the "face to face" style of Sarah Kane and Martin McDonnell.In the second chapter,by comparing the creation techniques of the two men's works,they show the opposite sex and the same sex in different works.The third chapter will mainly discuss face to face with the feasibility of the factors for the development of drama in China,which is divided into three parts.First is to analysis the history of China under the background of the war,the second part is to analysis of little theatre drama thought transformation,the third part discusses the drama of the pioneer drama to face to accept.The fourth chapter is divided into two parts,from the successful rehearsal of the drama in China,and the audience's more detailed analysis of its acceptance.Finally,it is the conclusion of the full text.
