The Exploration Of The Expression Form Of Contemporary Fine Brushwork Figure Line Drawing

Line drawing is one of the most important formal elements of Chinese painting and the language foundation of figure painting modeling."Modelling with lines" bears the spirit and connotation of Chinese culture and is a crucial method of painter's emotional sustenance.line plays a leading role on the express of painter's personal emotion and ideology,and embodies the artist's personality characteristics,inner temperament and aesthetic ideal as well.The style of contemporary meticulous figure paintings present is not only the inheritance of the traditional meticulous figure paintings,but also the perception of the current life circumstances with period feel,presenting a sort of distinctive times flavor.With the introduction of new materials and techniques,the contemporary meticulous figure paintings have gradually reduced the modeling function of lines in the picture,and the requirements and standards of line in painting creation are becoming more and more blurred as well.The innovation of line-drawing form in the contemporary meticulous figure paintings is the absorption and reference of large pattern in the current cultural development.Thus,abundant and diverse language styles appeared on the application and performance of lines:on the basis of traditional painting techniques,some painters integrate the characteristics of western sketch,begin to explore the new aesthetic image that lines present,and attach lines with a totally new appearance.In a manner of speaking,the innovation and development of lines advance with times.During the course,we should not only inherit the line-drawing technique of traditional meticulous figure paintings,but also realize the spirit of traditional Chinese painting,and draw lessons from every valuable foreign art form,which makes the meticulous figure paintings have a further development in contemporary.In this paper,we explored and practiced the manifestation pattern of contemporary meticulous figure paintings.In the meanwhile,we took our own creative practice as an example,and briefly analyzed the diverse language forms of contemporary line-drawing representation in the national subject painting.
