Wei Zhongxian disrupting politics envents happenned at the Late Ming Dynasty-the Tianqi year,is a great historic event whether in the Ming Dynasty or in the ancient history.At the Late Ming Dynasty and the Early Qing Dynasty,some novels and dramas with subjects about Wei Zhongxian disrupting politics emerged,of which the “Tao Wu Xian Ping” has the highest value,not only the novel featured this period of history incisively and vividly,but also it shaped a vivid image of an eunuch Wei Zhongxian by novel technique,throughout the novel,vividly described volatile political situation and social reality of the whole Late Ming Dynasty,has important value in the field of literature,history and culture.This paper probes into the subject source and ideological connotation of “Tao Wu Xian Ping”.It sets six of chapters.The first chapter discusses the creation period,the author and specific creation background of the novel.By related historical materials,the second chapter investigates and compares the contents in detail with the historical records,to explore the origin of novel subject,and analyze how the author use historical materials reasonably and art of historical fiction.The third chapter compares the “Tao Wu Xian Ping” with other several fictions about Wei Yan,to discuss how it draws lessons from the works with similar subject and beyond in subject processing,the narrative technique and artistic structure.The fourth chapter discusses that the author disclosed eunuchs disrupting politics,flayed crimes by Yan group,and explored the causes of eunuchs disrupting politics by analysis of Wei Zhongxian image created in the novel.In the fifth chapter,from the social life of advocating money and debauchery described in the novel,to see the corruption and downfall of social climate at the Late Ming Dynasty,same as the disclosure of the eunuch disrupting politics,all show the author's attention to realpolitik and social problems,reveal the root of the Ming Dynasty to decline.The sixth chapter discusses the author's creation psychology of "denouncing duplicity and praising loyalism",cautionary and encouraging kindness.
