Hot Topics And Research Frontiers In The Study Of Chinese International Education In The Past Ten Years

Under the new era,the development of Chinese international Education has entered a high-speed development period,ushered in a new historic opportunity.Many scholars have paid great attention to the study of Chinese international Education.Cite Space visualization technology is a new research method and tool emerging in recent years.It can detect the hot topics and evolution of a certain subject or field through the visualization of the literature data information.At present,there is less research on the hotspots and frontier topics of Chinese international Education by using this kind of visualization software.Therefore,based on the relevant laws of bibliometrics and Cite Space software,this paper made an analysis on Chinese International Education Research in 2008-2017 from the aspect of literature growth,journal distribution,institutional distribution,geographical distribution,author groups,hot topics and frontier evolution.It mapped out the key words of the Chinese international education field,and analyzed the Chinese international education research in the past decade in a quantitative and dynamic way,and explored the hot topics of Chinese international education research in the past decade and its evolutionary situation.This article is divided into 6 parts.The introduction part explains the research background,the purpose and significance of the research,the theoretical basis,the research method,writing thought and the framework of the paper.The first chapter is a review of previous research.The application of Cite Space information visualization software in different subject areas was compiled,and the domestic scholars' research on Chinese international education was briefly reviewed.The second chapter introduces the literature growth of Chinese international education in the past ten years based on the relevant laws of bibliometrics,and compares it with the number of Confucius Institutes in the past ten years and the number of students studying in China,and also distributes and publishes the journals of the literature,the organization and the region conducted statistical analysis to detect the research status of the above three aspects.The third chapter analyzes the authors of Chinese international education research based on Cite Space information visualization software and the law of bibliometrics from the aspect of authors' literature statistics,core author group and author cooperation map.The fourth chapter analyzes the hotspots of Chinese international education research and the evolution of cutting-edge topics.According to the processing results of Cite Space,the hot topics of Chinese international education research mainly include five aspects: “Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages”,“Course Setting”,“Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language”,“Confucius Institute” and “International Chinese Teacher”.Meanwhile,it detects the research status and content and analysis about the above five aspects through the summary of document retrieval.According to Cite Space's processing results and the overall trend of the cited historical line chart,the keywords with high probability of emergence can be divided into the progressive research fronts,the robust research fronts and the latest research fronts.The progressive research fronts include “Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages”,“Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language”,“Confucius Institute” and “Chinese International Promotion”.The robust research front includes “cultivation mode”.The latest research fronts include “One Belt and One Road” and “Overseas Internship”.The conclusion part summarizes the hot topics and frontier evolution of Chinese international education research,and puts forward the innovation and inadequacies of the article.
