A Comparative Study Of The New HSK And The New JLPT Intermediate And Advanced Listening Tests

Both of the Chinese Proficiency Test(HSK)and the Japanese Language Proficiency Test(JLPT)in Japan were reformed in 2009,and both of them were tests for a second language.Currently both tests have a relatively complete system.After a series of reforms,both of them take the listening test part as the top priority of the test,and test the tester's ability to use the second language through listening tests.This paper takes the new HSK and the new JLPT middle and high level hearing test as the research object,and based on the basic theory of language testing,through the comparative study of two test questions,topic selection,and questioning methods.The first chapter introduces the language testing theory and the listening level test.At present,the language testing theory has become the theoretical basis of many exams in the world,and the listening test is an extremely important part of the language test.Therefore,this paper introduces its basic theory firstly.The second chapter is an introduction to the new JLPT and HSK level exams,including the introduction of the formation process,development process and time.On the basis of the second chapter,the third chapter is the introduction of the listening test in the new JLPT and HSK exams,including the setting of the question type and the score,as well as the corresponding reference of various levels after the exam revision.The fourth chapter begins to compare the two kinds of listening tests.At first,it's to find out the similarities and differences between them,and then sort out their advantages and disadvantages.Among them,the new JLPT listening test has certain scientific and rationality,which is worth to learning.Based on the advantages of the new JLPT listening test and the shortcomings of the new HSK,I put forward some relevant suggestions in the fifth chapter,hoping to contribute a little bit to the test to become more reasonable and perfect.
