An Analysis Of The Interpersonal Meaning Of The Humorous Language In The Sitcom "Wulin Wai Zhuan"

From the perspective of interpersonal meaning theory in the functional grammar of Halliday system,show the charm of language art to readers.Taking the script of "Wulin Outsider" as the source of corpus analysis,this paper emphasizes the interpersonal,changing and negotiable significance of language by using the characteristics of interpersonal meaning of systematic functional linguistics,and guides readers to understand the language features of sitcoms from a deeper level.This paper analyzes the humorous language features in the script,and analyzes the humorous effects derived from the modality system and the modal system based on the humor highlighted by the interpersonal meaning,such as: the use of dialect idioms,the reasonable interpolation of irony,the expression of official rhetoric,the change of salutation,and the aggravating potential of words;The implication of poetic words and the misdirection of word games.The humor created by various factors of interpersonal meaning expands the reader's understanding and appreciation of humor in sitcoms,and enriches the practical application of systemic functional linguistics in Chinese.
