During the Qing Dynasty, the Forbidden City of the Ming Dynasty served as the Imperial PalaceforQing Dynasty. And also, the court defensive system created in the Ming Dynasty was borrowedand developed by Qing emperors to adjust their administrations and management. The Qing court defensive system, with some Ming-dynasty characteristics,is more systemmatic and normative in operations than the former one. With the prosperity of the country, the laws and institutions of the system is more and complete. And correspondingly, the relevant tools and equipment also ushered in greater development opportunities. However, with the decay and decline of the Qing Dynasty, the court guard syste became lax and loose;the laws and institutions weren't taken seriously and responsibly. Thus,in a way,the strictness change of the court guard system wasalso a fine testimony of the fall of the dynasty.
