Research On Lefebvre's Critical Theory Of Daily Life

Henry Lefebvre is a famous French Marxist theorist.He inherited and developed the thought of alienation of Marxism and introduced the thought of alienation into the "third platform"--the field of daily life,and made philosophical reflections on Daily Life.Lefebvre once wrote: "a man must first be of everyday life,or he cannot exist." He revealed the rich connotation of Daily Life,described and criticized the multiple alienation of capitalist society,and then summarized the characteristics of Daily Life in modern society.In order to realize the transformation and reconstruction of Daily Life,Lefebvre advocated to end alienation with a utopia of the culture revolution,get rid of the tedious Daily Life,return to Daily Life style,diversification,finally let philosophy thinking to return to the Daily Life and achieve artistic and aesthetic of Daily Life,and realize the freedom of the people.This paper attempts to trace the origin of the critical theory of Daily Life,differentiate and analyze the concept of "Daily Life",sort out the logical thinking of this theory,and analyze its contribution and limitations.Although there is a certain utopian color on Lefebvre's critical theory of Daily Life,he has made a very important contribution to the theoretical academia,which is helpful for us to interpret Marxism in the contemporary era,and also has important reference significance for the Chinese society moving towards the consumption society.
